The section of Burnt River this study will focus on is located between the Kinmount Dam and the bridge crossing on Hillside Drive. Burnt River flows from North of Kinmount through several reservoir lakes and dams south through Kinmount and Sommerville and outlets into Cameron Lake. It has a watershed area of approximately 1438 square kilometers. All the properties of concern are along the banks of Burnt River. There are 125 properties as well as several roadways within the flood plain of this study area.
